During my practicum opportunities, my teaching strategies were observed by my cooperating teacher and a university supervisor. Listed below are the evaluations for my Elementary Practicum I and II. Based on these assessments, I am able to adapt my methods and grow.

Reflecting on these evaluations, I have learned that I need be confident in my teaching and that not every lesson will go as planned. As an educator, I will have to be flexible with my plans. There will be times where school events interfere with my activities, or I may notice that my students are having a difficult time with the content; when these times arise, I will be able to alter my plans to help make all learners successful.

Throughout my time teaching in first grade, I have recognized areas that I can improve and work on. Giving my students explicit step-by-step instructions will better prepare the students for the activities. I also need to focus on ways that I can differentiate my instruction and assessment to fit the needs of all learners.
