Throughout my time at the University of Mary, I have had the privilege of participating in various school settings. Each location has provided me with new experiences and perspectives. I plan on incorporating the strategies that I have gathered from my education and experiences and implementing them into my future classroom.

Elementary Practicum II
- Centennial Elementary, Bismarck, ND ● First Grade ● Greta Delparte
- Fall 2018
For my practicum this fall, I have been placed at Centennial Elementary. Miss Greta Delparte, a first grade teacher, has graciously welcomed me into her classroom. This experience requires me to teach two science, reading, math, and social studies lessons along with one art lesson. During my second week of practicum, I will be required to teach a half day in the afternoon, followed by a half day the next morning. This new setting will allow me to have a unique outlook on education and will help shape me into a better educator. So far, this opportunity has allowed me focus on differentiating my instruction and has required me to give explicit instructions to these young learners.

Other Lesson Plans
While at the University of Mary, I have developed several lesson plans that vary by age level and content. These are a few lessons that I have not yet had the opportunity to implement into a classroom.
